We want this site to be usable by everyone, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our aim

We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1. This is ongoing work and we continue to improve.

What we have done

• Pages are built with meaningful HTML; headings run in order and links and buttons are marked up for what they do
• Alternative text is provided for all product and content images
• Keyboard navigation is supported and the focused element is shown with a visible outline
• Colour is never the only carrier of meaning; state is also given in words
• Sufficient contrast is kept between text and background
• Form fields are tied to their labels and error messages are written in plain language
• Layout adapts to screen size and zooming is not blocked
• Transitions and moving content stop for visitors who prefer reduced motion
• Right-to-left languages are supported with correct text direction

Known limits

Third-party content embedded in the site, such as the map, depends on the provider's own level of accessibility, and we may not reach full compliance there. The address shown on the map is also given as text.

Product images carry the texture of handmade pieces, and visual content cannot always be fully conveyed in words. For that reason the materials and handwork of every piece are also described in writing.
