The board was placed on the back as it sat on the frame of the painting; its edge was surrounded by a strip, flowers and beads were sewn on it in the hand, and a row of feathers was added to the bottom edge. The jeans were hand-worn on the shoulder and hem.
It is the part of the collection that requires the most workmanship and takes the longest to complete.
